A little bit about me

Hi and welcome to Photography by KLS. I am Katie, and I am a photographer currently based in Wrexham North wales where I live with my husband and two children.

My passion for photography began as a hobby and I began to enjoy the process of not only taking the photos and planning shoots but editing and enhancing the pictures to reflect the moment.

One of my main qualities is my attention to detail, throughout my life I am a meticulous person with an eye for detail, photography has given me an opportunity to express myself while applying my qualities to provide you with a first class and bespoke service to fit your style and needs.

I’ve been very lucky to be able to split time between North and South Wales which I spent time capturing moments with the family and friends that ranged from sunny days on the beaches of the Gower to mountain walks in Snowdonia to learn photography. I enjoyed the whole process so much I decided to take the next step and form photography by KLS.

My main objective as a wedding photographer is to tell your story through natural, candid images while ensuring I capture the most memorable moments of your special day. As you can see through my online galleries I have a specific style of photography, however I am able to adapt my style to your personal and unique ideas to gain the real authentic personality and emotion of your day.

We booked Katie last year after seeing her pictures from a friends wedding. She hadn’t been doing it that long but we liked her style and pictures she had done so decided to book her. I think every bride has anxieties about their photos not turning out okay but please believe me when I say, this lady is an absolute professional! I spoke to so many different photographers when planning my wedding but as soon as I saw Kate’s work I knew she was the one as the way she captures memories is just absolutely breathtaking. Highly recommend Katie as your wedding photographer!! She was beyond helpful and went out of her way to make sure my day remained special at all times. She was there for me when things didn’t go to plan and made me feel much better about it. We booked Katie for a pre-wedding shoot in January with our dog, Cooper. We didn’t initially plan on having a pre-wedding shoot but last minute decided we wanted one and I’m SO glad we did. From the moment we enquired to the final photos being sent through to us, Katie was absolutely fab! On the day she made us feel so comfortable and made the whole experience as natural and fun as possible. She was soo quick sending us the final photos too, I can’t recommend Katie enough. Katie photographed my baby shower and did an amazing job. Her being there meant I didn’t need to worry about capturing any photos, she captured the day perfectly and I will cherish the photos forever. We have also booked her in for our newborn pictures because we loved the photos and quality!
